Fireside Intense

(9 customer reviews)

Evening by a campfire

This smoky woods fragrance captures the oddly satisfying scent of smoked woods carried by the crisp fall air or emanating from an evening campfire. Fireside Intense opens with a fairly strong leather and smoke accord that mellows into a drydown of beautiful smoky woods, soft leather, and a touch of deep agarwoood. The fragrance has a very high percentage of natural oils and resins that provide a soft but lasting natural, outdoorsy drydown.

  1. Victoria

Intense is a perfect word to describe this Sonoma Scent Studio perfume. It is smoky to the point of being searing, and the combination of rich notes—amber, oud, sandalwood, birch tar, leather, guaiacwood—further augments the impression. If it all sounds like too much, it is because Fireplace Intense is meant to be a bold statement.

  2. Abby

Fireside Intense is a smoky woody leathery masterpiece.

  3. Natalie

it just smells like smooth woods with a whisper of leather, all slightly charred. It is beautifully dry throughout.

  4. March

This is a cheerful, soft leather/smoke scent with a nice peaty note that differentiates it from your basic birchtar campfire-scent. Bonus – wait for the oakmoss to pop up like a little green elf after about fifteen minutes.

  5. Keyvan

It is smoky oud fragrance, soft woody, wearable, and type of smell you never find in designer and a dozen of niche fragrances. It’s so daring.

I adore this scent. It reminds me of an incense I used to burn years ago from a local jewelry shop and haven’t been able to find that scent in any other form before Fireside Intense.

Wow! I used to get decants of Union Celtic Fire from some sites a number of years ago until it became unavailable. Since that time, I’ve been looking for a fire scent that was close to that or better.

I tried so many, and none did the trick. I just ordered the sample of Fireside Intense and absolutely LOVE it. It definitely is a long lasting scent. It’s perfect for autumn and winter for me.

I will definitely be buying a bottle in the near future.

I’ve owned this perfume at least a year now, and it’s my favorite from Sonoma Scent Studio.

Smoky isn’t the right word to describe it. It’s fierce, yet extremely comforting at the same time. It’s the seething hearth that gives us warmth during the cold months. It’s the infrared glow that emanates from the aged wooden planks once the fireplace’s fuel has been exhausted.

The sharp, burnt, wooden edges of this perfume are lined with soft fur. There is nothing like it. And boy, does it project. Start with two sprays, please. It’s received the most compliments of any perfume I’ve worn.

For those familiar with incense, it smells like a vivid recreation of the scent of burning Aetoxylon Sympetalum (Eaglewood) chips. It’s pungent, woody, salty, slightly sweet, slightly musky and very deep, with no dissonance. Everything is in harmony. You’d be doing yourself a disservice not to try this work of art.

I smell like a campfire, which is exactly what I want. When you smell it initially, it just smells like wood, but when you put it on your skin it gets a sweetness to it. It makes me feel rich and deep and beautiful.
